Life is an Expedition - at 50!

Guess what? The 🐻 will be 50 in a few weeks! What? You thought the bear was some sort of spring chicken? Nah, it's just a number, albeit a significant one for some people. What have you accomplished in life? Are you where you want to be at this age? What's in store for the next 50-ish years?
Who me? I have no clue. If you have your life all figured out at 50 (or any age), you need more life in your life. The setbacks you experience build character. If you get knocked down, get up, brush yourself off, and walk your path. These just aren't fortune cookie words of wisdom. A positive attitude can make almost any situation easier and more palatable ($3.00 word alert).
I've made many great decisions in my life. I have three great cubs, a den over my head, awesome friends, a supportive family, and many great memories of living a life with no regrets. I've never made a bad decision in my life, just some better than others. I have a few things planned for the big 5-0, so a follow up article is in store to bring everyone up to speed on what's next. One thing is for sure. I'm looking forward to the expedition! Oh... and that's NOT the 🐻 below.
The New Adventure - in Michigan!

Update: The 🐻 has taken the adventure to a new den - in Michigan! It's been a great 35 years on the west cost, but who wants perfect-ish weather year round? It's nice to be back where it all started. I love the different seasons, and not knowing what to expect from mother nature on a daily basis. They say if you don't like the weather in this state, just wait 5 minutes, and it'll change. Wow! They weren't kidding!
We're enjoying the fall colors and actually can't wait for even colder weather - and SNOW! The truck may have been born on the west coast, but it's built for tougher conditions. I'm hopeful it will be tested this winter! Stay tuned!
